Hurry Up, Lets Go, Lets Go!  MOVE IT MOVE IT!!!!

Does this sound like you trying to leave the house in the morning? If you answered yes, I can help.

Following are 7 tips that I swear by that give me a smoother transition out of the house in the morning:
(1) Prep fruit break and snacks for school lunches the night before. Have lunch boxes sitting on the bench with snacks already packed. (Except those that need to be refrigerated).

(2)  Fill water bottles up the night before and put in the fridge, so water is cold and kids can grab them in the morning.

(3) Put dirty laundry in the washing machine the night before, put liquid in and turn machine on as you leave the house. On your return clothes are ready to be hung out. This applies to the dishwasher too.

(4) Get school uniform/outfit out the night before so you are ready to go and are never in the position of having no clean school uniforms. This applies to your outfit too.

(5) Have school bags at the front door ready to go

(6) Empty, wash and repack sports bags as soon as they return. They are then packed and ready to go again.

(7)  Set a time you must leave the house that allows you to get to school 10-15 minutes before you are due. That allows for any traffic congestion and gives you the peace of mind that you are on track.

I hope these few tips are of some support for you as you leave the house each morning. Whilst I still say “Hurry up” way more than I’d like too,  my mornings are a lot calmer and stress free than expected. PS you are doing an awesome job!
